Unit 1153 - The short story? You're about to book a beautiful and clean 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom family-friendly condo in the picturesque Fort Morgan area of Gulf Shores. It sleeps six in beds plus two more on a sleeper sofa and offers plenty of amenities for all to enjoy. If that's all you need to know, book it today! But if you want all the details, keep reading. As soon as you turn off Highway 59 in Gulf Shores and start your final journey down shady Fort Morgan Road, you can feel the worries of the world start to slip away. Fifteen short minutes puts you far enough out to "get away from it all," but still within reach of all the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area has to offer! You'll have built-in breathing room away from the high-rise developments. But don't think the amenities list is short! This ground-floor unit offers the convenience of bypassing any elevators and stairs. If the parking spot is available in front of the patio, you can back your vehicle up and unload luggage and groceries right over the railing! Step through the door of the unit, and you'll find yourself in the comforts of a 2-bedroom, 2-bath unit within steps of the beach. The first room on the left is just right for the younger members of your traveling party (or young-at-heart!) Furnished with a full bed with twin bunk above, and additional twin day bed. Also use our game cabinet filled with board games, cards, puzzles and some books. A large bath in the hallway is just right for guests in this room. Continuing through the foyer you'll enter into the open living space. You have a large dining table, six chairs, and two swivel counter chairs. Seating is rounded out by a full (sleeper) couch, and reclining rocker. Beyond the living area is the serene master suite. Sleep peacefully in your sturdy, steel-foundation queen bed. Tucked around the corner is your private bath. You’ll find additional touches targeted to the traveling families. Plenty of cookware, and glassware, knives and cutting boards. In the kitchen are a toaster, Keurig, blender, and hand mixer. There are two TVs, one in the master bedroom, with the larger one in the main room being a Smart model. Both TVs carry cable. There is a new Dollar General just two miles away for those last-minute things you may have forgotten. We provide a starter supply of paper and soap products so please remember to bring some extras. Nearby activities include: charters for fishing, dolphin watching, Historic Fort Morgan, the Ferry to Mobile, USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, Tanger Shopping Center with 120 factory outlets, and the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge. Savor delicious, fresh seafood at local restaurants or splash at Waterville, USA-a Water Park sure to thrill kids of all ages! You can also enjoy OWA, the Theme Park for thrills, shopping and dining. The ground floor patio is ready for your morning coffee, or venture out to the west side of our building and enjoy the lush courtyard with two pools and the covered hot tub. You will also have access to hot tubs, charcoal grills, volleyball, tennis courts, a putting green, basketball court, horseshoes, and shuffleboard. Sassy Bass Grill is onsite for grabbing a bite to eat. If golf is your thing, you can walk to the award-winning Kiva Dunes public course next door. And finally, the beach! We're nestled between undeveloped land owned by the state and some single-family houses to the West, so there’s plenty of space to relax.
